The need for gun control

Gun control is need right now to me because if you watch the news everyday somebody gets shooting some where. And people die because of the none gun control that we have. And people's family's suffer and lose another kid one. Because of the none control this is something we seriously need to help america's young one's feel safe.
Approximately 60 percent of all murder victims in the United States in 1989 (about 12,000 people) were killed with firearms. According to estimates, firearm attacks injured another 70,000 victims, some of whom were left permanently disabled. In 1985, the cost of shootings--either by others, through self-inflicted wounds, or in accidents--was estimated to be more than $14 billion nationwide for medical care, long-term disability, and premature death. (Editor's note: the number of gun victims has increased since 1989 to 15,456 gun homicides in 1994. In robberies and assaults, victims are far more likely to die when the perpetrator is armed with a gun than when he or she has another weapon or is unarmed.
These are my reasons why guns should be controlled and stop some of the killings in america. A study of 743 gunshot deaths by Dr. Arthur Kellermann and Dr. Donald Reay published in The New England Journal of Medicine found that 84% of these homicides occurred during altercations in the home.

The dangers of taking illegal steroids

There are alot of reasons why you shouldn't take steroids. First, of all I believe that kids or anybody should want to take steroids. If you are a true atheletic and love the competetion you wouldn't want to cheat, this is my opinion. You would want to work harder than your competetion and be better than they are, steroids would be like cheating on the SAT. I would never think about taking steroids even if one of my idols asked me to take it. I wouldn't even give somebody steroids if they asked for it or asked me to help them take it.
Although controlled studies on the long-term outcome of megadosing with anabolic steroids have not been conducted, extensive research on prescribed doses for medical use has documented the potential side effects of the drug, even when taken in small doses. Moreover, reports by athletes, and observations of doctors, parents, and coaches do offer visible evidence of dangerous side effects. Some effects, such as rapid weight gain, are easy to see. Some take place internally and may not be evident until it is too late. Some are irreversible.Although derived from a male sex hormone, the drug can trigger a mechanism in the body that can actually shut down the healthy functioning of the male reproductive system. Some side effects are Shrinking of the testicles,
Reduced sperm count, Impotence, Baldness, Difficulty or pain in urinating, Development of breasts, and Enlarged prostate.
These are a lot of the reasons why I don't take steroids. And why nobody else should take steroids, to me they are some punks if they take steroids they shouldn't even be in the professional league. Plus if I every did take steroids my mom would tear my head off, then after she did my dad would, then my brother would. So I don't even think about taking steroids thats not even in train of thought. I just keep straight and work hard and harder than others and push myself to work to my best abilities.

The things I want to do is get a education first and have a back up if i don't make it to the NFL. And my back up is to be a lawyer or a judge. But my main goal is to make it to the NFL thoughts been my goal seen I was seven and I still believe that dream can come true.

Who is j howe?

I am 5'7' an athlete, the second oldest out of 5 and is currently in love. My 3 brothers Tony the oldest, Thomas the third oldest and Stephen the youngest boy and I have one sister the baby. I love to play sports like football, basketball, and running track.
This pass football season our football team finished at 7-3. I made it first team wide reciever, first team safety, first team kick returner, and first team all-purpose back. Next, year we plan on winning regionals and going to states.
My favorite football team is the New Orlean Saints and my favorite basketball team is the Miami Heats. The players that I look up to are Reggie Bush and Dwayne Wade, they was my favorites since they was in college. But the person I look up to the most of all is my dad is my hero he's the one that got me into sports and I thank him for that.

What does love mean?

LOVE is what you feel not what somebody tells you that you are. It is something that you can't stop when you really like somebody. It's when you can't stop thinking about that person, it's when you feel that you would do anything for that person. It is when you feel that you can't live without that person in your life. Or not live a good enough life that you would want without that person. It could also, mean that if that person cheats on you and tells you that they regret it and it won't happen again, that you would forgive them. Love means that you would love that person no matter what happens to that person. It is when you can't get mad at each longer than 5 minutes. It's when you have to talk to that person everyday and see them everyday. It is when that person is your everything all that you want in a person is in them.
